Safety & Security Manager / Assistant Manager – Hotel

About the role

Join Hilton’s hotel team as a Safety & Security Manager (or Assistant Manager) and ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property. You will lead the security department, develop policies, and respond to emergencies while upholding Hilton’s hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and schedule the safety and security team.
• Oversee daily security operations, conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
• Develop, test and execute emergency protocols; coordinate with local emergency services.
• Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local regulations and hotel standards.
• Deliver ongoing safety training, drills and staff education.
• Investigate incidents, produce reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to maintain a cohesive safety strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in safety and security management, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team‑training abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of safety regulations, emergency planning and risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Relevant certifications (safety management, first aid, CPR, fire safety).
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
