Retail Transformation Manager – India

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Transformation Manager to drive growth and operational excellence across our stores in India. The role focuses on increasing footfall, optimizing store performance and strengthening franchisee relationships for our portfolio of lifestyle brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop quarterly footfall generation plans and ensure each store receives appropriate support.
• Create and coordinate store business plans in consultation with Area Retail Managers (ARM) and head office.
• Conduct competition analysis, identify emerging opportunities or threats and recommend actions.
• Visit potential B/C sites, evaluate leads from ARM and maintain relationships with regional business development representatives.
• Manage franchisee relationships from a business perspective and resolve conflicts.
• Monitor SOP compliance by reviewing ARM and audit reports, identifying recurring trends.
• Oversee merchandise and visual‑merchandising standards, recommending improvements.
• Analyse store opening quality, monitor operational metrics such as cash, stock and cost management, and ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail business development and store operations.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret footfall data, competition insights and audit reports.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with franchisees and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent planning and coordination capabilities across multiple stores and regions.
