Retail Salesperson – Luxury Home Décor

About the role

TheKalakriti is seeking a full‑time Retail Salesperson to join its Gurugram showroom. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them explore the brand’s curated collections of furniture, décor, lighting and more, and guiding them to make selections that suit their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, understand their design needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Demonstrate product features, explain benefits and handle pricing and billing queries.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the store clean and well‑presented.
• Update displays to highlight key collections and seasonal items.
• Address customer questions, provide after‑sales support and ensure a high‑quality shopping experience.
• Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven retail sales experience, preferably in luxury or home‑decor environments.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Attention to detail, professional appearance and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or higher; fluency in English and local languages is a plus.
