About the role
We are looking for a qualified Retail Pharmacist to join our Planet Health stores in Gandhinagar. The role involves ensuring safe dispensing of medicines, providing professional advice to customers, and supporting the pharmacy’s inventory management. You will work closely with the pharmacy team to deliver high‑quality health services and maintain a safe, customer‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Check prescriptions for correct dosage and verify their validity.
- Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals and counsel patients on indications, contraindications, side‑effects, drug interactions and proper dosage.
- Maintain medication profiles, including records of poisons, narcotics and controlled substances.
- Order, receive and manage stock of pharmaceutical supplies to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Advise customers on the selection and use of over‑the‑counter medicines.
- Renew existing prescriptions in limited circumstances as permitted.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standard operating procedures.
