Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead day‑to‑day operations of the club’s dining spaces in Mumbai, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth coordination across departments, and high team performance. This role is focused on guest satisfaction, staff training, service standards, and operational efficiency in a premium hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and supervise the restaurant service team to deliver consistent high standards of hospitality.
• Build a culture of professionalism, accountability and teamwork on the floor, conducting briefings, service refreshers and performance evaluations.
• Oversee pre‑service checks, table settings, reservation flows and seating plans, ensuring adherence to SOPs for order taking, billing and guest handling.
• Maintain cleanliness, ambience, music and lighting; manage floor presence during peak hours and resolve guest concerns in real time.
• Coordinate closely with culinary and bar teams for seamless service, and collaborate with Private Hire and Events teams for special functions.
• Ensure accurate billing, DSR entries and POS reconciliation, and uphold hygiene and safety standards under FSSAI regulations.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in restaurant operations, preferably in luxury or premium hospitality.
• Strong leadership, team management and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management tools.
• Working knowledge of FSSAI hygiene and safety standards.
