About the role
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Restaurant Cashier to join our team. The role involves greeting guests, handling transactions, and ensuring smooth order coordination in a fast‑paced dining environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, answer basic menu or promotion questions, and address customer concerns politely.
- Operate the cash register or POS system to process orders and payments, handling cash, cards, and mobile payments while maintaining accurate cash drawer balances.
- Communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff, package take‑out orders accurately, and ensure cleanliness of the cashier station.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards, keeping the work area organized.
