About the role
The Resident Engineer leads the installation and handover of KONE equipment at customer sites in Bhimavaram. He/she ensures safety, quality and productivity, manages site preparation, logistics and the installation team, and acts as the primary customer contact.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee safety, quality and productivity during installation, raise corrective actions and ensure compliance with KONE methods and tools.
- Plan and organise site preparation, material delivery (MS 3c, MS 3x), storage, logistics and resource allocation.
- Conduct site visits, audits and resolve non‑conformities together with the Project Manager.
- Lead the installation team and subcontractors, ensuring training, certification and wellbeing.
- Drive continuous improvement using LEAN principles, identify waste and implement improvement actions.
- Manage customer communication, ensure satisfaction and handle handover to maintenance.
