Reservation Associate

About the role

The Reservation Associate is responsible for handling all reservation inquiries, changes, and cancellations for our hotel in Jaipur. You will work directly with guests via phone, fax, or mail, ensuring a smooth booking experience and promoting Marriott’s standards of wonderful hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations accurately.
• Identify guest needs, recommend appropriate room types, and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Document special requests, such as complimentary rooms, employee discounts, or travel‑agent rates.
• Utilize the reservation system to input correct codes, rates, and special room types.
• Escalate guest concerns following proper procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect guest privacy.
• Adhere to company policies, appearance standards, and quality assurance expectations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional demeanor and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a reservation software system.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
