Research Manager – Fieldwork & Data Processing (Operations)

About the role

Mastercard’s Advisors Research Center (ARC) is expanding its Global Facilities India team. The Research Manager – Fieldwork and Data Processing will lead quantitative research execution across multiple markets, ensuring high‑quality data collection, processing, and delivery for Mastercard’s consulting services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional teams to translate research requirements into operational plans.
• Work with the scripting team to verify and test programmed survey links for logic integrity.
• Own end‑to‑end fieldwork execution, including sampling, quota management, timelines, and vendor coordination.
• Monitor fieldwork progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct data quality checks during and after fieldwork, resolving issues related to sample integrity or response quality.
• Prepare survey datasets through cleaning, validation, and transformation for analysis.
• Apply structured quality‑control frameworks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Required profile

• Experience managing quantitative fieldwork and panel vendor relationships.
• Strong analytical judgment with the ability to spot patterns, risks, and opportunities in complex datasets.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of end‑to‑end research processes.
