Research and Communications Officer

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Research and Communications Officer to join the Wipro Story Project. The role blends archival research with storytelling, supporting the development of museum exhibits, digital outreach and internal communications.

Key responsibilities

• Research and build upon Wipro’s story, linking it to changes in policy, economy, technology and business history.
• Support creation of content for museum exhibits, programs, archival projects, digital outreach and internal communications.
• Collaborate with production, design and technology partners on approved content.
• Work with Museum and Archives teams to communicate the story through guided tours for museum visitors.
• Travel as required to support project activities.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Humanities, Liberal Arts or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of proven research and reporting experience.
• Experience in corporate business history and communication is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, collaborative, detail‑oriented with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Business journalists or museum professionals based in Bangalore are preferred.
