Requirement & Project Manager – Mechanical (COB)

About the role

We are looking for a Requirement Manager / Project Manager to lead the mechanical domain within customer projects at our Coimbatore site. The role combines requirements engineering with project coordination to ensure that mechanical specifications are captured, traced and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end requirements management process for mechanical systems, from elicitation through to verification.
• Break down high‑level regulations, customer norms and CRS specifications into detailed, traceable items using IBM Rational DOORS.
• Maintain full traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including project managers, customers, quality management, and cross‑functional teams.
• Support the Project Manager in preparing and conducting Quality Gate reviews.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication across all parties involved.

Required profile

• B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics.
• 6–10 years of experience in requirements engineering or project management within the mechanical domain.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.

Required skills

• IBM Rational DOORS (requirements management tool).
