Remote IT Support Specialist

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports a growing US‑based company by being the first point of contact for clients and internal teams. You will diagnose, resolve and document technical issues across hardware, software and network environments while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support via email, phone and remote‑desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems promptly.
• Assist with setup, configuration and maintenance of company systems, including software installations and updates.
• Guide users through troubleshooting steps and deliver training when needed.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate specialists.
• Maintain detailed tickets and documentation of incidents and resolutions.
• Support basic network tasks such as connectivity checks and minor server maintenance.
• Track recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and remotely with international clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Customer‑service mindset with a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
• Remote‑desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Software installation and update deployment.
