Remote IT Support Specialist (English/Spanish)

About the role

We are looking for a Remote IT Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for our clients and internal teams. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, maintain systems and ensure smooth IT operations for a fast‑growing US‑based company.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support via email, phone and remote‑desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems promptly.
• Assist in setup, configuration and ongoing maintenance of company systems, hardware and software.
• Guide users through problem‑solving steps and deliver training when needed.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or department.
• Document incidents, resolutions and system configurations in a ticketing system.
• Support software deployments and updates, ensuring compatibility.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity and minor server maintenance.
• Track recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work independently.
• Experience delivering high‑quality customer service remotely.
• Comfortable supporting international clients and working as an independent contractor.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
• Remote‑desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Network troubleshooting and basic server maintenance.
