Reliability & Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer to oversee the facility’s mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. The role involves preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and coordination with vendors across our Rajasthan plant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly preventive maintenance (PPM) checks on all plant equipment.
• Respond to trouble tickets for corrective maintenance, service and repair tasks.
• Coordinate warranty and AMC activities with external vendors.
• Monitor energy consumption and maintain diesel generator (DG) operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, electrical distribution, lighting, transformers and wiring.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams and control components such as photo‑eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives and encoders.
• Conduct minor civil, plumbing and fire‑safety inspections, including fire alarm and extinguisher checks.
• Oversee soft services including pest control, housekeeping and waste disposal.
• Manage agency staff, shift schedules and maintain tools inventory.
• Prepare daily reports on ticket closures, open cases and root‑cause analyses.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year experience maintaining conveyors, automation or control systems.
• Background in electrical, mechanical, electronics or instrumentation and controls.
• Ability to work safely at heights and handle hot‑work permits.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
