Regulatory Compliance Manager (UPI, BBPS, Digital Lending)

About the role

This role manages regulatory compliance for Paytm's UPI TPAP, BBPS and Digital Lending businesses, advising business units on regulatory expectations and ensuring timely detection of compliance issues.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret regulations for UPI TPAP, BBPS and Digital Lending, providing compliance advisory to internal stakeholders.
• Develop, implement and maintain up‑to‑date compliance policies and procedures.
• Prepare and submit accurate compliance reports to senior management and regulators.
• Conduct regular compliance testing, reviews and risk assessments, and implement mitigation measures.
• Design and deliver training programs to enhance compliance awareness across the organization.
• Collaborate with legal, risk, operations and technology teams to resolve compliance‑related issues.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and proactively update policies and procedures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience in a fintech environment or bank.
• Strong knowledge of RBI and NPCI regulations and related laws.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with compliance management software and tools.
