About the role

Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University is inviting applications for regular faculty positions across several departments. The university seeks qualified candidates for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor to join the Laxminarayan Institute of Technology and other faculties.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, labs and tutorials in the assigned subject areas.
• Design and update curricula, course materials and assessment methods.
• Guide and supervise student research projects, theses and dissertations.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees and university‑wide activities.
• Publish research findings in reputable journals and secure research funding where applicable.

Required profile

• Relevant doctoral or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Chemistry, English or related fields as per the advertised post.
• Eligibility as per university regulations, including any required teaching experience.
• Proficiency in Marathi language is desirable.
• Applicants must belong to the appropriate reservation category (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) as indicated in the advertisement.
