Registered Pharmacist

About the role

The Registered Pharmacist will work on‑site in the Greater Vadodara Area, providing safe and effective dispensing of prescribed medicines. This full‑time position supports patient counseling, accurate record‑keeping and compliance with pharmacy regulations while promoting affordable treatment options.

Key responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
• Counsel customers on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient medication records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Manage inventory, check expiry dates, and assist with stock ordering and storage.
• Collaborate with team members to provide courteous service and address medication‑related queries.
• Promote affordable and appropriate treatment options and participate in health‑awareness initiatives.

Required profile

• Valid registration with the Pharmacy Council and eligibility to practice in the Greater Vadodara Area.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription interpretation, drug interactions and standard treatment guidelines.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records, managing pharmacy inventory and using basic pharmacy or retail management software.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medication usage clearly.
• Attention to detail, high ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• D.Pharm or B.Pharm degree; prior retail or hospital pharmacy experience is an advantage.
