Registered Nurse – Geriatric Care

About the role

The Wisdom Club is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver holistic, patient‑centered care to senior residents in its state‑of‑the‑art facilities in Vile Parle and Nerul. You will work closely with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure each resident receives safe, high‑quality medical support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document clinical information accurately.
• Administer medications, provide wound care, and manage basic life support interventions.
• Coordinate care plans with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate residents and families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assist with activities of daily living when needed.
• Participate in wellness programs and group activities that promote resident engagement and independence.

Required profile

• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute.
• Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
• Clinical experience in geriatric or long‑term care settings is preferred.
• Strong communication, empathy, and cultural sensitivity when working with older adults.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and remain calm in urgent situations.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Accurate clinical documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
