Registered Nurse – Clinical Care

About the role

The Registered Nurse will join Aster Health’s on‑site clinical team in Chennai, delivering direct patient care and supporting the integration of digital health tools into everyday practice.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs and administer medications safely.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Coordinate and update patient care plans, providing education to patients and families.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while adhering to infection‑control and quality standards.
• Support the use of the Aster Health app and other digital health platforms in patient interactions.

Required profile

• Valid nursing qualification (GNM/B.Sc Nursing or equivalent) with current registration on the appropriate nursing council.
• Experience in hospital or clinical settings; exposure to telehealth or digital healthcare is a plus.
• Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to a technology‑enabled care environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities with a patient‑centered approach.
