Registered Nurse – Band 5 (2 positions)

About the role

The NHS Scotland team is seeking two Band 5 Registered Nurses to join Ward 5. This full‑time, onsite position offers the chance to work within an innovative multidisciplinary environment delivering high‑quality acute care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care to patients in an acute setting.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists and other health‑care professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and monitor clinical progress.
• Participate in ward rounds, handovers and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold NHS standards of excellence.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualified to practice in the United Kingdom.
• Experience in acute nursing or a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
• Commitment to NHS values of compassion, kindness, integrity, teamwork and excellence.
• Eligibility to work in the UK or ability to obtain sponsorship where applicable.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring.
• Medication administration and safe handling.
• Effective communication with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
