Regional Sales Manager

About the role

As the Regional Sales Manager for the South region of India, you will lead the sales effort for Dormer Pramet, a Sandvik brand. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and aligning regional activities with the company’s overall go‑to‑market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet regional targets and increase market share.
• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing training, performance feedback and coaching.
• Identify and nurture relationships with key customers, distributors and strategic partners.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to uncover new business opportunities.
• Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports and market analysis to senior management.
• Manage the regional sales budget and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Represent Dormer Pramet at industry events, trade shows and customer meetings.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development and customer service to ensure a cohesive market approach.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3‑5 years in a leadership role, preferably in industrial tools, manufacturing or engineering.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of the Indian industrial market and distribution channels.
