Regional Sales Director – Industrial (India/APAC/China)

About the role

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Industrial segment covering India, APAC and China. Based in Delhi with frequent travel, you will provide strategic leadership, drive commercial transformation and grow the business across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the commercial strategy for India/APAC/China, aligning global growth objectives with regional plans.
• Coach and sponsor regional sales leaders, ensuring consistent vision, execution discipline and local adaptability.
• Lead market development, identify high-potential verticals and drive go-to-market strategies for decarbonisation and infrastructure renewal.
• Oversee sales governance, pipeline hygiene, forecasting, pricing integrity and CRM adoption across the region.
• Build a high‑accountability culture, develop leadership pipelines and foster cross‑regional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical, Business or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
• 15‑18 years of progressive commercial leadership experience, including managing regional sales teams across India/APAC/China.
• Proven track record of delivering growth in industrial fluid or gas solutions with value‑based selling.
• Strong financial acumen, P&L responsibility and experience with budgeting and strategic investment decisions.
• Fluent English; additional regional languages are a strong advantage.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of industrial fluid and gas applications, solutions and systems.
• Proficiency with CRM systems for sales tracking and reporting.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office 365.
