Regional Procurement Manager

About the role

Google's Procurement Organization is seeking a Regional Procurement Manager to lead innovative category and sourcing strategies for indirect spend areas such as marketing, media, creative, social, events, and market research. The role focuses on unlocking value through data‑driven insights, strategic supplier relationships, and efficient spend management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with Google’s objectives for assigned indirect spend categories.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service and alignment with business goals.
• Lead RFx processes, negotiations, and supplier evaluations within the designated categories.
• Analyze spending patterns, market trends, and procurement data to identify value‑creation opportunities.
• Generate reports and provide actionable insights to support decision‑making and performance evaluation.
• Advocate AI‑first procurement solutions and drive continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of multi‑disciplinary procurement experience, including strategy development and sourcing.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial agreements, cost negotiations, and supplier sourcing.
• Preferred: MBA, advanced degree, or certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in analyzing procurement data and generating performance reports.
• Experience developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and using investigative tools for data‑driven decisions.
• Strong project‑management capabilities to lead strategic initiatives.
• Ability to identify efficiencies and implement process improvements in category management.
