Regional Compliance Lead

About the role

The Regional Compliance Lead, based at the Head Office in Gurugram, India, will drive the implementation of the Group Compliance Programme, overseeing ethics, integrity, risk management, investigations, governance and regulatory compliance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the Group Compliance Programme across the region.
• Promote a strong culture of ethics, integrity and compliance through training, awareness and business engagement.
• Maintain and oversee regional compliance risk registers, ensuring key risks are identified, monitored and mitigated.
• Oversee key compliance processes such as Conflict of Interest, Employee Declarations, Business Partner Due Diligence, Gifts & Hospitality.
• Lead and coordinate third‑party due diligence, compliance assessments and risk‑based monitoring.
• Support investigations related to whistleblower reports, fraud, misconduct, bribery and corruption.
• Provide practical compliance guidance to business leaders and support ethical decision‑making.
• Support compliance monitoring, audits, reporting and management updates, including remediation activities.
• Assist ISO 37001 readiness, certification and other compliance assurance initiatives.
• Monitor emerging regulatory developments and recommend actions to maintain compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, Governance or related discipline; Master’s degree or professional qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Ethics & Compliance, Risk Management, Investigations, Internal Audit or Governance.
• Strong experience in Anti‑Bribery & Corruption, whistleblower programmes, third‑party due diligence and compliance risk management.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across business functions.
• Experience in multinational consulting, engineering, infrastructure, construction or professional services environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 37001 is advantageous.
