Recruiter – Retail Hiring (Tiruppur)

About the role

The Chennai Silks is seeking a full‑time Recruiter to manage end‑to‑end hiring for its retail and corporate teams in Tiruppur. You will play a key role in sourcing, screening and onboarding talent that supports our fast‑paced textile retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates through multiple channels and maintain a talent pipeline.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
• Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Support onboarding activities and ensure accurate recruitment data and reporting.
• Partner with store and corporate teams to understand workforce needs and ensure timely staffing.
• Uphold fair and inclusive hiring practices and comply with relevant labor regulations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to source, screen and interview candidates effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple requisitions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Tamil or other regional languages are a plus.
• Understanding of fair hiring practices, confidentiality and basic retail labor laws.
• Ability to work on‑site in Tiruppur in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; prior recruitment or retail HR experience preferred.

• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and basic HR reporting tools.
