Recruiter – Full‑time, On‑site in Mumbai

About the role

VR Food Consultancy is seeking a proactive Recruiter to join its Mumbai office. You will own the end‑to‑end hiring process, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates through multiple channels and build talent pipelines.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate data.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to define role requirements, draft job descriptions, and support offer negotiations.
• Assist with onboarding coordination and contribute to employer branding initiatives.
• Provide regular reporting on recruitment metrics and pipeline health.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition professional, preferably in consulting or food‑related industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Attention to detail, excellent time‑management, and the ability to prioritize multiple open roles.
• Familiarity with labor laws, hiring best practices, and diversity & inclusion principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Experience using recruitment tools and job portals.
