Reconciliations Processor

About the role

HSBC is seeking a Reconciliations Processor to join its finance team. The role focuses on ensuring accurate fund reconciliations, supporting new product roll‑outs and driving process automation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide critical inputs and facilitate the rollout of new products and activities within the Reconciliations function.
• Drive efficiencies through automation and removal of manual processes.
• Support migration and re‑migration of funds and ensure compliance with regulatory and risk standards.
• Develop and implement robust control mechanisms to mitigate risk.
• Perform process control activities, reviewing funds to guarantee accurate reconciliations.
• Train, coach and mentor team members, contributing to their development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or PGDBM degree in commerce, accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• 0‑2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Good knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments and accounting principles.
• Strong ability to reprioritise work, meet strict deadlines and operate under changing circumstances.
• Understanding of the end‑to‑end fund accounting model and reconciliation processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
