Receptionist – Primary Care Team

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Receptionist to join the Primary Care Team at Roodlane Medical in London. You will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and staff, delivering high‑quality customer service in a busy private healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, GPs and staff, handling enquiries in person, by phone and email.
• Issue and explain paperwork, manage appointment bookings and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the Registered Manager and clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient journey.
• Escalate complaints or complex issues to the Senior Receptionist as required.
• Support multiple clinics across Central London, maintaining a professional and approachable presence.

Required profile

• Good general education – minimum GCSE level (5 GCSEs at C grade or above preferred).
• Previous experience in hospitality, service or healthcare environments is advantageous.
• Excellent spoken and written English with strong telephone etiquette.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Computer literacy and experience using information systems.
