Real Estate Lawyer

About the role

PEAK Realty is seeking a full‑time Lawyer based in Nagpur to support its real‑estate development projects. The role involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of property documents while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate real estate documents such as sale agreements, lease deeds, development agreements, and title‑related documents.
• Conduct legal due diligence on land parcels, verify titles, and assess zoning and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with external counsel, government authorities, and internal project teams.
• Advise on risk mitigation, handle legal notices and disputes, and support approvals and registrations.
• Maintain organized legal records to ensure transactions adhere to applicable laws and regulations.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in real estate law, property transactions, land acquisition, title verification, and zoning/regulatory frameworks.
• LL.B degree from a recognized institution, enrollment with the Bar Council of India and eligibility to practice law in India.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to explain legal risks to non‑legal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal notices.
• Legal due diligence and compliance with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Knowledge of Maharashtra and Nagpur specific real estate regulations.
