RDL Jump Host Administrator (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, compliance‑driven RDL Jump Host Administrator to own the administration, security and access control of our global jump‑host infrastructure. Reporting to the Lead Network Architect and working closely with the RDL Network Administrator, you will manage secure, air‑gapped lab connections across multiple design centres worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain Linux‑based jump‑host virtual machines (Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS) on VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper‑V clusters.
• Apply CIS hardening benchmarks, ensure no unauthorized software or corporate agents are present on the VLAN behind the jump host.
• Maintain high availability, performance, patch status and storage capacity of jump servers.
• Implement export‑control compliance measures, including interactive user‑agreement banners, mandatory acceptance gates and tamper‑proof logging.
• Capture and archive detailed audit logs (user ID, source IP, timestamps, acceptance confirmation) using Rsyslog, Journald or custom scripts.
• Facilitate secure remote connections from corporate Zscaler ZTNA or customer CyberArk vPAM environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering Linux servers in a security‑focused environment.
• Strong understanding of air‑gapped network architectures and export‑control requirements.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with network and security teams across multiple geographic locations.
