R&D Member of Technical Staff – II (Product Development)

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a motivated R&D Member of Technical Staff – II to join its Product Development team in Bangalore. You will work on the PI Visualization platform, delivering high‑quality software features for industrial data visualization.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Deliver production‑ready code on time, following AVEVA standards and coding guidelines.
• Design, implement, test and debug features across UI and API layers.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases with code reviews, unit tests and documentation.
• Apply secure engineering practices, including input validation and dependency hygiene.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a quality‑first mindset.
• Effective communication and collaboration within cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• C# and .NET development.
• JavaScript for UI development.
• Building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Unit testing (and exposure to UI testing).
• Modern UI frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and basic release awareness.
• Secure coding basics, including input validation and dependency hygiene.
