R&D Member of Technical Staff - II

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a motivated R&D Member of Technical Staff - II to design, develop and deliver secure, scalable cloud‑based software solutions for industrial customers. The role works closely with product owners, scrum teams and customer support to translate business needs into high‑quality code.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders and Scrum teams to define, design and implement software features.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer‑reported issues in partnership with Customer Support.
• Develop maintainable, test‑driven code using C#, ASP.NET/Core and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Design and implement security controls following industry cybersecurity standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and product quality.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong software design skills and solid understanding of OOP concepts.
• Experience delivering cloud‑based applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Commitment to writing unit‑tested, well‑documented code.
