About the role
The Radiograph Safety Officer – Quality will ensure safe and compliant radiographic and ultrasonic inspection activities across pressure vessels and related components. The role combines expertise in non‑destructive testing (NDT) with a strong focus on radiation protection and regulatory adherence.
Key responsibilities
- Perform ultrasonic inspection of welds on pressure vessels and other critical components.
- Review and interpret radiographic testing films, ensuring accurate defect identification.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, technique sheets, procedures, and calibration block drawings.
- Develop and maintain radiation safety procedures in line with AERB and IAEA regulations.
- Support regulatory compliance audits and contribute to continuous improvement of safety practices.
Required profile
- Qualified NDT Level II and Level III certification.
- BARC Level‑II Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) certification.
- Hands‑on experience in radiation protection and regulatory compliance (AERB/IAEA).
- Proven ability to work independently and contribute to safety and compliance objectives.
