Pressure Vessel Design Engineer (Pre‑Bid Support)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer specialized in pressure vessels to support pre‑bid activities and detailed engineering for refinery and process projects. The role involves designing a variety of equipment such as vessels, columns, reactors, coke drums, and ammonia converters, ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop pressure vessels, columns, reactors, coke drums, and ammonia converters according to project requirements.
• Prepare detailed engineering documents, including material ordering specifications and purchaser specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with ASME VIII Division 1 & 2, IRB, API, and NACE standards.
• Provide technical clarifications and proposals during the pre‑bid phase.
• Handle multiple enquiries simultaneously and support bid preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in pressure vessel design.
• Familiarity with specifications and standards used by major process licensors and refinery clients.
• Understanding of basic mechanical design principles and failure theories.
