Quality Specialist – Distribution Solutions

About the role

ABB is seeking a Quality Specialist to support the deployment of its quality strategy for the Electrification business within the Distribution Solutions division in Nashik, India. You will help drive a strong quality culture, ensure compliance with standards, and deliver world‑class performance for medium‑voltage products.

Key responsibilities

• Support communication and implementation of quality management practices in the assigned area.
• Identify and address quality risks and opportunities using data analytics.
• Analyze customer cases, perform root‑cause investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve quality targets and continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IEC standards, and internal quality tools.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (full‑time).
• 6–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, in‑process inspection, testing, and handling customer complaints for vacuum interrupters or MV switchgear.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IEC standards, Lean Six Sigma, SAP‑QM, and quality tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and customers.
