Quality Leader – Manufacturing Excellence

About the role

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a senior Quality Leader to drive quality excellence across its manufacturing operations in Ghaziabad. You will own the Quality Management System, lead customer and supplier quality initiatives, and champion continuous improvement to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and maintain QMS compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and manage internal, customer and certification audits.
• Address customer complaints, warranty issues and drive root‑cause analysis using 8D, Fishbone and other methodologies.
• Develop suppliers through audits, capability assessments and performance scorecards, and lead supplier quality improvement projects.
• Implement Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste, optimise processes and achieve cost savings.
• Coach and mentor the quality team, deliver awareness training and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and R&D.
• Support new product introductions using APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans and process validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 12‑15 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management within manufacturing.
• Proven track record in customer quality, supplier quality and manufacturing quality.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
