Quality Control Officer

About the role

The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for analysing stability and finished product samples, ensuring accurate reporting and maintaining laboratory instruments in a pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform stability and finished product sample analysis and compile reports following ALCOA procedures.
• Maintain and service laboratory equipment such as dissolution testers, UV spectrophotometers, analytical balances, pH meters and sonicators.
• Ensure compliance with data integrity policies and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Operate and monitor stability chambers and associated tracking systems.
• Manage charging and withdrawal of stability samples according to approved protocols.

Required profile

• B.Pharm, M.Sc. or M.Pharm degree.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control or related laboratory work.

Required skills

• Stability testing and ALCOA reporting.
• Operation of dissolution test apparatus.
• UV spectrophotometer proficiency.
• Analytical balance handling.
• pH meter and sonicator usage.
• Data integrity management.
• Good Documentation Practices (GDP) knowledge.
• Stability chamber operation and tracking.
