Quality Assurance - Improvement Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance – Improvement Specialist is responsible for driving continuous improvement of warranty and field claim processes. This role works closely with after‑sales, suppliers and dealers to analyse data, validate corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Improve 3M, 12M and WM CPU performance.
• Analyse field claim data, update part status and report findings to after‑sales.
• Identify top claim trends and focus on issue closure.
• Validate effectiveness of corrective measures by duplicating parts in durability testing.
• Reduce child‑part claims and associated costs.
• Conduct field part simulations and confirm issues with after‑sales teams.
• Provide prompt responses to critical field issues and implement temporary actions.
• Plan and execute supplier audits to ensure process compliance and quality control.
• Establish and maintain an effective corrective‑action procedure.
• Develop decision plans and obtain approvals for field campaigns and recalls.
• Prepare VIN lists for campaigns based on severity.
• Create clear Technical Information Bulletins (TIB) and Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) to prevent misdiagnosis.
• Visit dealers for critical and safety‑related issues, analyse failures and deliver feedback.
• Ensure timely closure of Supplier Quality Warranty Claims (SQVOC) with appropriate countermeasures for domestic and export markets.
