Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer will lead the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, AS9100 and related aerospace standards. You will work closely with the Management Representative to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance across all manufacturing and engineering activities.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100/EN 9100 standards and manage certification activities.
• Direct, establish, review, implement, control and monitor quality processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Conduct internal audits of MCA group business processes beyond basic QMS requirements.
• Support QMS development for new ventures, plants and future business opportunities, ensuring awareness of QMS requirements.
• Maintain the Corporate Quality System’s effectiveness and alignment with customer and industry standards.
• Provide QMS updates, knowledge sharing across the Tata group, and support assessments for new customers and companies.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (required).

• ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
• Aero‑structure manufacturing knowledge.
• Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems.
• Airworthiness regulations (EASA, FAA).
• Internal and external audit expertise.
• Corporate Procedure Framework (PCF) and QMS knowledge.
