QC Manager – Quality Assurance Lead

About the role

Welding Alloys South Asia Pvt. Ltd is seeking a QC Manager to lead quality assurance activities across its manufacturing operations. The role involves managing work methods, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with in‑line inspection teams and carry out internal audits for ISO 9001:2008.
• Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance systems tailored to service and repair operations.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits and evaluations of service processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer expectations.
• Verify the quality of repairs and services before delivery to customers and ensure technicians follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen initiatives to improve service delivery and reduce waste.
• Maintain documentation for quality inspections, service records and audits, and prepare management reports with KPIs and quality metrics.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
• Very good command of English and proficient computer skills.
