QC Manager – Civil Engineering (Water Infrastructure)

About the role

The Quality Control (QC) Manager will lead the QC function for civil projects focused on water infrastructure, EPC, and construction. The role ensures that all deliverables meet client specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and control project quality system documentation before project start‑up.
• Prepare and enforce SOPs, ITPs, and quality plans for site and laboratory activities.
• Conduct field inspections, laboratory tests, and concrete mix‑design trials (5‑90 MPa) including use of micro‑silica, fly ash, GGBS, and fibers.
• Coordinate client quality meetings, track quality metrics, and implement digital quality solutions.
• Manage vendor quality assurance, monitor non‑conformance reports, and ensure corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to the QA team and maintain the QA manual.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with a BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or 8 years with a Diploma in Civil.
• Qualified internal auditor for ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience in water‑wastewater, storm‑water, and drainage design projects.
• Familiarity with international codes, IS standards, and construction regulations.
