QC Lead – Quality Control Engineer

About the role

The QC Lead will head quality control activities on a construction project site, ensuring all civil and foundation works meet approved drawings, specifications, and client standards. This is a hands‑on role that requires close coordination with project, planning, and execution teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day QC activities and site inspections.
• Verify that construction follows approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
• Inspect incoming materials, review test certificates, and coordinate laboratory testing.
• Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and monitor concrete, cube, and other material tests.
• Identify non‑conformities, drive root‑cause analysis, and manage corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive QC documentation, including ITPs, method statements, NCRs, and quality reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third‑party agencies for inspections and approvals.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in construction/infrastructure quality control, especially civil and foundation works.
• Strong hands‑on experience with piling, diaphragm walls, ground improvement, concreting, and related activities.
• Ability to work on‑site with immediate availability or short notice period.
