QA/QC Manager – Civil (High‑rise Residential)

About the role

MSR Infraa is seeking a seasoned QA/QC Manager to embed quality into every phase of a high‑rise residential project in Hebbal, Bengaluru. The role focuses on preventing defects through proactive planning, inspection, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and refine Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and stage‑wise quality checklists for structural, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, MEP and façade works.
• Approve first‑pour, first‑unit, benchmark samples and mock‑ups to set quality standards before large‑scale execution.
• Oversee material and vendor quality, including specifications, sample submittals, incoming inspections, GRN checks and approved‑makes lists.
• Maintain auditable quality documentation such as checklists, cube and slump tests, rebar inspections, waterproofing flood tests, MEP commissioning records, NCRs and CAPA reports.
• Drive non‑conformance management, root‑cause analysis and permanent process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with IS Codes, NBC, IS 16700, IGBC Platinum criteria and RERA quality obligations.
• Coordinate quality requirements with structural, MEP consultants, architects and internal teams, especially for critical activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections, train site engineers and contractors, and lead quality reviews for senior leadership.
• Own snagging and de‑snagging processes, ensuring smooth handover and complete documentation for defect‑liability period.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–12 years of construction quality experience, preferably on high‑rise residential or premium‑finish projects.
• Post‑graduate qualification or quality certifications such as Six Sigma or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is an advantage.
