Python Developer – OLS Application

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join the OLS application team within BNP Paribas’ PMLS IT Development group. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a liquidity reporting platform used across the BNP Paribas group.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance dashboards and web applications using Python, Flask/FastAPI and modern front‑end technologies.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and multidisciplinary team to prioritize tasks, plan sprints and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Write and consume RESTful APIs, integrate with back‑end services and maintain deployment pipelines (Celery, Nginx, Gunicorn).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives – and keep project documentation up to date.
• Contribute to code reviews, propose architectural improvements and ensure compliance with IT security policies.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve the OLS application’s performance and usability.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Python development.
• BE/BTech degree or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, high motivation and a collaborative attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, Agile environment.
