Python Developer

About the role

Capco, a Wipro company, is looking for a Python Developer to join its Mumbai office. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining Python applications, automating processes and supporting data‑driven solutions for banking and financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Python scripts, applications and APIs to improve operational efficiency.
• Build and manage ETL pipelines, data extraction, transformation and loading from multiple sources.
• Perform data analysis and visualization using pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib and seaborn.
• Create interactive dashboards and automated reporting solutions, preferably with Power BI.
• Identify and implement process automation opportunities, including workflow tools such as Alteryx.
• Collaborate with business users and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
• Participate in agile development cycles, conduct code reviews and write unit tests to ensure quality.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Data manipulation libraries: pandas, numpy, scipy.
• Data visualization libraries: matplotlib, seaborn.
• Experience with Power BI (advantage).
• Familiarity with Alteryx for workflow automation (advantage).
