Purchasing Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Manager to lead the sourcing and procurement of raw herbs, extracts, spices and other essential raw materials for our production facilities. The role is based on-site at our Jodhpur office and involves close collaboration with production, quality, and store teams.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure raw herbs, extracts, spices and other raw materials.
• Identify, develop and manage reliable suppliers across India.
• Negotiate pricing, quality, payment terms and delivery timelines.
• Track market prices and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with Production, QA/QC and Stores for material requirements.
• Ensure timely availability and appropriate inventory levels.
• Obtain and maintain required supplier and quality documentation.
• Develop alternate suppliers for critical materials.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement.
• Experience in herbal, Ayurvedic, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food or spices preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication and follow‑up skills.
• Willingness to travel for supplier/vendor visits when required.
• Ability to work independently with strong commercial understanding.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
