Purchasing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Purchasing Manager to lead procurement activities for our multi‑brand hospitality group in Varanasi. This full‑time, on‑site position will ensure that all food, beverage, and operational supplies are sourced efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in line with our quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies that align with business objectives.
• Source, negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring best value and reliable supply.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance against agreed terms.
• Track inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate timely delivery of required items.
• Collaborate with kitchen, operations, and finance teams to synchronize procurement with operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety regulations, and cost‑optimization targets.

Required profile

• Proven negotiation, vendor management and sourcing expertise.
• Experience in procurement planning, cost analysis and optimization.
• Solid understanding of inventory control, supply‑chain dynamics and market trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Prior experience in the food and hospitality sector is advantageous.
