Purchasing Executive

About the role

Lakshmi Prasanna Constructions is looking for a proactive Purchasing Executive to lead procurement activities for residential, commercial and infrastructure projects in Goa. The role requires close collaboration with project, site and finance teams to ensure cost‑effective sourcing and timely delivery of construction materials.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement of cement, steel, aggregates, ready‑mix concrete, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and finishing materials.
• Identify, evaluate, onboard and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and service providers.
• Develop and maintain an approved vendor database; conduct vendor assessments, factory audits and site inspections.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and contractual conditions in line with project budgets.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders, Work Orders and Service Agreements.
• Draft and administer supplier contracts, subcontractor agreements, labor contracts and equipment rental agreements; monitor compliance and vendor performance.
• Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and payment processing.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, quantity surveyors and planning teams to understand procurement requirements and resolve supply‑chain bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, GST regulations and contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Based in Goa and familiar with the local market.
• Experience in procurement or vendor management for civil construction projects.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work cross‑functionally.
