Purchasing Coordinator – Raw Material Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to manage the sourcing and procurement of organic raw materials for our nutraceutical and food product lines. The role ensures compliance with organic standards and supports production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new sourcing opportunities while ensuring compliance with organic standards.
• Source and procure high-quality organic raw materials from approved suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and purchase terms.
• Ensure timely procurement to support production requirements.
• Monitor raw material quality and coordinate with the Quality team when required.
• Maintain purchase records, documentation, and inventory coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in procurement or raw-material purchasing, preferably in organic or agricultural products.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple suppliers.
• Prior experience in purchasing, procurement or supply-chain roles within manufacturing or trading environments.
