Purchase & Store Executive (Hospitality Pre-opening)

About the role

Ciarans, a beachfront eco‑luxury resort in South Goa, is looking for a Purchase & Store Executive to establish and run procurement and store operations ahead of its October opening. The role will create vendor relationships, set up inventory systems and ensure cost‑controlled supply for kitchen, F&B, housekeeping and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement procurement processes, vendor base and store systems during the pre‑opening phase.
• Manage purchasing for kitchen, food & beverage, housekeeping and maintenance.
• Source, negotiate and liaise with local suppliers of fresh seafood, produce and dry goods.
• Receive, inspect and store goods, maintaining quality, par stock levels and FIFO practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, indents and issue registers.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef, Housekeeping and Finance on budgets and cost tracking.
• Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile records.
• Support eco‑conscious sourcing aligned with the resort’s positioning.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of purchasing and store management experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Supply Chain or Commerce.
• Familiarity with local Goa vendor networks and perishable goods handling.
• Strong negotiation, record‑keeping and organisational skills.
• Ability to build systems from the ground up and work collaboratively across departments.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of inventory/procurement software.
• Proficiency in Tally.
